Builders Story

Brian Keene was previously employed by Bruce Gunstra Builders, Inc., before founding Keene Homes, Inc. He had been working on the Gunstra team for over 12 years. Brian graduated from Tri-State University with a B.S. in Accounting.

 

Brian started out on the estimating side, doing pricing and special projects. He then moved over to development managing all the development in Lafayette and Kokomo, and in 2005 took over development responsibilities in Indianapolis as well.

 

Brian has also served a term as President of the Builders Association of Greater Lafayette and is currently a State Director for the Indiana Builders Association, participates in the Land Development Committee and is a member of the Strategic Planning Team.

 

Brian also has some professional designations issued through the National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB). He holds a Graduate Master Builder (GMB) as well as a Certified Graduate Builder (CGB). These certifications are based on experience as well as classes and continuing education.
